Honeywell switches are constructed in accordance with IEC standards: EN50041, metal, standard and plug-in. In EN50047 – metal and double-insulated types – there are variations with extra robust housing (die cast zinc or stainless acid-resistant steel) that can withstand temperatures from -40° to +120°C.
The products are approved by UL, CSA, NEMA 1.4 and NEMA 13, and are available with a wide range of control devices. Honeywell also offers a wide range of EX-certified limit switches.
Wireless limit switch
In 2011, we became the first and only supplier on the market to launch wireless limit switches for the automotive and processing industries. The system is ideal in situations where wiring is inappropriate due to mechanical wear or high installation heights, e.g. forklifts, excavators and cranes.
The limit switches are available in a wide range of variants, with a distance range up to 300 m and a temperature range from -40 to +85°C. A flexible solution in situations where cable breakage, downtime and lack of monitoring are significant problems.
